NSPIRE inspections in Montgomery County
ATK does NSPIRE mock inspections and pre-inspections for public housing, HUD-assisted multifamily owners and HCV landlords in Dayton, Kettering, Huber Heights, Trotwood and Miamisburg. Voucher units in the county are inspected by the local housing authority (Greater Dayton Premier Management (GDPM) for most of the county); under HUD's Notice PIH 2026-18, PHAs must use NSPIRE standards (NSPIRE-V) for voucher inspections by February 1, 2027. Ask your PHA which standard it uses now. ATK is independent and not affiliated with Greater Dayton Premier Management (GDPM) or HUD.
Dayton has a large share of pre-1978 housing and older public housing and multifamily sites. Deteriorated paint, exposed wiring at older panels, blocked egress windows and heating failures in winter are common NSPIRE findings to clear before an inspection.
